Job Purpose

As we continue to expand our market share in the rapidly emerging Employee Experience platform category, we are looking for a Senior Product Designer to play a key role in leading Product design for multiple product areas. You will be embedded in cross-functional scrum teams, ensuring that we deliver a user experience that delights our customers and end users.  

This role reports directly to the  Head of Product, joining a talented team of Product Managers and Designers. We are seeking someone with extensive Product design experience, particularly with established B2B SaaS products. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic, fast paced environment, is passionate about understanding people and their motivations, and excels at and designing experiences that help people overcome their challenges.  

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the design efforts across multiple product areas, ensuring a scalable, cohesive, and delightful user experience that meets both customer and end-user needs. 
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to understand and validate customer and user needs, creating innovative design solutions through ideation, prototyping, and testing. 
  • Conduct research and discovery activities to gain a deep understanding of our customers and end-users users, regularly analyzing insights and use cases while working with customers as well as customer-facing teams to inform design decisions. 
  • Establish and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability across products. 
  • Design accessible, inclusive solutions that meet usability and accessibility standards. 
  • Apply your knowledge of user behavior and psychology to craft intuitive solutions that account for cognitive biases and heuristics, ensuring an engaging and seamless user experience. 
  • Design for multiple modalities, including desktop, mobile, and tablet, while ensuring consistency and usability across all platforms.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience in Product Design 
  • Experience working in B2B software, additional B2C experience is a bonus! 
  • Experience working with global enterprise customers.  
  • Experience conducting research and discovery activities with customers. 
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into an engaging and easy-to-use experience.  
  • Knowledge and a keen interest in user behaviours and psychology.  
  • Knowledge of Accessibility standards and the ability to create user interfaces that conform tothem. 
  • Proficiency with the following tools: Figma, FigJam, Maze (or equivalent user testing software). 
  • Understanding of Agile practices and the software development lifecycle  
  • Adaptability when working with, and in, existing design and UX systems.
