Job Purpose
This role reports into the Manager, Communications and Brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a variety of content types, from blog posts and whitepapers to social media updates and video scripts, all tailored to resonate with our enterprise audience. This role demands an understanding of the B2B technology landscape, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
Main Responsibilities
Create high-quality, engaging content and copy for multiple platforms, including website, blog, social media, email campaigns, and marketing collateral, as well as collateral for in-person and virtual events.
Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform content creation and ensure relevancy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to gather insights and produce content that addresses customer pain points and highlights product benefits.
Craft compelling copy for case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, and other long-form content that establish Unily as a thought leader in the intranet space.
Work closely with our in-house and agency design and production partners to produce visually engaging content across a range of media.
Optimize content for SEO to increase organic search visibility and drive traffic to Unily's website.
Utilize analytics tools to measure content performance and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with content marketing best practices and continuously seek ways to enhance content quality and effectiveness.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or a similar role within the B2B tech sector.
Experience in managing agencies. Previous experience in PR is a bonus!
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
Experience with SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using graphic design and video editing tools is a plus.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
