Product Operations Lead

About UnityAI

UnityAI is an AI startup building the future of healthcare operations. With a $4M seed round from Max Ventures, Whistler Capital, Company Ventures, Nashville Capital Network, and other deeply connected supporters, we’re on a mission to empower healthcare providers with intelligent tools and transform how patient care is delivered.

Why we’re hiring

As a dynamic team that is quickly gaining traction with customers, we’re looking for a Product Operations Lead to solve complex business problems and build / iterate on processes for a wide range of go-to-market and operational needs.

We’re looking for a smart generalist who is both data-driven and relationship-driven to help us efficiently integrate AI technologies into complex healthcare organizations.

In this role, you’ll help lead:

  • End-to-end project execution: Guide our clients through both the development and implementation journey, from initial assessments and roadmap planning to configuration, training, and customer support.
  • Problem documentation & resolution: You’ll interact closely with our current and prospective customers, thinking of creative ways around their biggest pain points and helping shape our future product roadmap.
  • Operational oversight: Align go-live schedules with organizational readiness across Product, Engineering, Sales, and other teams to ensure successful rollouts.
  • Education & enablement: Deliver tailored training sessions to prepare customer teams for product adoption and provide ongoing support throughout go-live.
  • Value creation & ROI validation: Define meaningful metrics, validate ROI, and help clients navigate their organizations to demonstrate we’re helping improve how healthcare is delivered.
  • Building playbooks 0→1: Develop and maintain workflows, standardized documentation, and training materials to improve and automate company processes as we scale.

What you’ll need to be successful:

We value demonstrable knowledge and the ability to deliver real-world solutions above formal education. Candidates are expected to have experience and/or interest in learning:

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Experience leading complex projects with many stakeholders to completion, whether in consulting, implementation, client success, technical project management, or other roles, preferably within healthcare or enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Systems-level intuition: A track record of scaling processes and operations; ability to recognize the need for and implement both operational (e.g. workflow (re-)design) and product-oriented (e.g., automation of manual workflows) changes.
  • Analytical, growth mindset: Demonstrated ability to dissect complex problems, identify root causes, and drive solutions to completion with a high degree of autonomy. Ideally, you have familiarity and comfort writing SQL queries and working with data to derive insights and identify areas of strength and improvement.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills: Demonstrated ability to navigate organizational challenges, manage competing priorities, and deliver polished, professional communications (in-person and writing) tailored to the audiences at both the executive and team level.
  • User-oriented: Empathetic approach to learning from users about their work, goals, and desires; active listening and strong curiosity about why things work the way they do and where there are opportunities for change.
  • Healthcare domain expertise: Knowledge or eager willingness to learn about the healthcare industry and landscape, including the economics of healthcare, how hospitals operate on a daily basis, and healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HL7, FHIR).

Additional values, skills, and mindsets include:

  • Extreme ownership: We are a small and mighty team. When you find an issue that needs to be handled, your first thought should be to take ownership and get it done.
  • Collaboration and communication: Because we are a small, early-stage startup, everyone needs to be contributing their maximum in the areas where their talents and ability are best suited. That means communicating eagerly and collaborating with others to achieve our goals in the most efficient way possible.
  • Big-picture thinking: Everyone needs to care a lot about our broader business goals and understand how their daily work drives toward those goals.
  • Velocity and delivery: You ship solutions efficiently and effectively, maintaining a balance between speed and quality.
  • Adaptability: We’re in a stage of rapid experimentation and prototyping, so you will need to be comfortable with ambiguity, change, and uncertainty. Your key priority may change tomorrow; if that doesn’t excite you, this may not be the right fit.
