About the Role

This is a founding marketing role. There is no department to inherit, no playbook to follow, and no predecessor to shadow. You will build the marketing function from the ground up.


You will report directly to the CEO and operate with full autonomy on strategy and execution. You will not be micromanaged. You will be given clear objectives, access to everything you need, and full authority to move. What you will be held to is results.


UTS has five years of client wins, technical depth, a growing product suite, and a team doing work worth talking about. None of it has been marketed. That changes with this hire.

What You'll Bring

Brand Awareness and Top-of-Funnel Growth

UTS has strong positioning in a competitive space. Your job is to make it visible. You will build and execute campaigns that generate awareness and qualified leads across channels including LinkedIn, email, SEO, paid, and HubSpot partner co-marketing.


Content Production and Distribution

  • We have a wealth of raw material: client stories worth telling, product capabilities worth demonstrating, and team expertise worth publishing. You will mine that content, produce it, and get it in front of the right audiences.
  • Research and publish case studies from client engagements
  • Create and distribute content highlighting team expertise and client outcomes
  • Manage our social presence across relevant channels
  • Build a content calendar and execute consistently against it


Sales Enablement

  • The sales team needs tools. You will build them.
  • Pitch decks and one-pagers for each product and service line
  • Co-marketing materials and partner-ready collateral
  • Product launch materials for Karana and HubMasters
  • Campaign assets that support active deal cycles


Marketing Operations

  • You will build the infrastructure that makes marketing measurable and scalable.
  • Attribution, reporting, and dashboards in HubSpot
  • Campaign tracking and lead source visibility
  • Growth calendar, playbooks, and forecasting
  • Contractor and agency management for creative and performance execution


Partner and Channel Marketing

A significant portion of UTS pipeline flows through HubSpot and referral partners. You will own the marketing side of those relationships, including co-marketing campaigns, partner enablement content, and HubSpot partner program engagement.


Expected Results

First 90 to 180 Days

30 Days

Launch at least one growth campaign with measurable pipeline impact. Establish core metrics and reporting. Audit existing content assets and identify quick wins. Draft a strategic growth plan and 90-day calendar.

60 Days

Scale 2 to 3 active channels. First case studies published. Initial sales enablement materials delivered. Referral partner co-marketing underway.

90 Days

Minimum viable growth engine is live: reliable lead sources, working attribution, and early channel repeatability signals. Marketing rhythm is established.

180 Days

Growth programs are generating pipeline at a pace that meets annual targets. Marketing, sales, and partner teams are operating in a consistent, coordinated rhythm.

Core Competencies

  • Full-funnel growth expertise: strategy through execution across acquisition, activation, and retention
  • Strong HubSpot proficiency: marketing hub, workflows, attribution, and reporting
  • Content leadership: ability to develop or direct content that generates leads and enables sales
  • Marketing operations: dashboards, attribution models, CRM workflows, and campaign measurement
  • Channel fluency: email, LinkedIn, SEO, paid, and partner co-marketing
  • Project and vendor management: contractors and agencies to execute creative and performance work
  • Data-driven decision making comfortable with KPIs, experimentation, and iterating based on results


Compensation & Benefits

  • The base salary for this role is USD $105,000 - $120,000, annually commensurate with experience.
  • The company pays 50% of health insurance benefits for you and your dependents. (Available for U.S. W-2s only)
