About the role
Uplinq is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Generalist/Company Administrator to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll support a variety of HR functions, including employee onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, and administrative tasks in our HRIS. You will work with employees and department heads to ensure HR processes run smoothly. You will also be responsible for managing user access to tools.
What you'll do
- Manage daily HR functions, including employee relations, benefits, leave, payroll support, and compliance.
- Serve as a resource for employee issues, providing guidance to managers and escalating when needed.
- Partner with managers to address employee relations issues and provide guidance on best practices.
- Implement best practices to improve scalability, efficiency, and workplace culture.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook to ensure legal compliance.
- Assist with payroll preparation and reporting as needed.
- Lead or participate in HR projects, such as DEI initiatives, culture programs, or process automation.
- Assist with HR reporting, metrics, and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems; experience with Gusto, BambooHR, or similar platforms a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

The pay range for this role is:
65,000 - 70,000 USD per year (Uplinq)
