About the role

We're looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented part-time Tax Prep Intern to join our team from May to August. This is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate Accounting students to gain hands-on, real-world tax experience within a dynamic, technology-driven environment. Our interns play a vital role, performing many of the same tasks as our full-time tax preparation team.

What you'll do

• Organizing and reviewing client tax documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Assisting with the preparation of workpapers and data cleanup using Excel.
• Preparing tax forms including 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120S, 1120 and 990.
• Supporting our internal compliance workflows.
• Learning about and utilizing automation tools that streamline modern tax operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student studying Accounting.
• Possess strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through.
• Demonstrate great communication and time management skills.
• Comfortable with Excel and Adobe.
• Adept at learning new software applications.
• Bonus: familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO), CCH Access, or advanced Excel functions.
