Job Title: Assistant Practice Manager – Urgent Care for Children

About Us:
Urgent Care for Children (UC4C) is dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate urgent care services specifically for pediatric patients. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Practice Manager to join our team at the Madison/Huntsville location.

Position Overview:
The Assistant Practice Manager will have a hybrid role with approximately 75% clinical duties and 25% administrative responsibilities. This full-time position offers a unique balance of hands-on patient care and leadership support to ensure smooth clinical operations.

Schedule:

• Week 1: 4 clinical days, 1 administrative day
• Week 2: 3 clinical days, 2 administrative days
  
• On-call availability required when staffing is limited.
  

Hours of Operation:

(Huntsville and Madison)

Monday – Friday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday - Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical (75%)

• Provide direct patient care in urgent care settings, focusing on pediatric patients.
• Assist with clinical assessments, treatments, and patient education.
• Support clinical staff and ensure quality standards are met.
  

Administrative (25%)

• Assist the Practice Manager with daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination.
• Help implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Participate in staff training, performance evaluations, and compliance monitoring.
• Serve as a point of contact during on-call periods to manage staffing and urgent issues.
  

Qualifications:

• Experience in urgent care or pediatric care preferred.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and be on-call as needed.
