Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to serve as a Collaborating Physician for our Madison and Huntsville, AL clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and collaborate with nurse practitioners to ensure high standards of pediatric care.
- Work in-clinic shifts alongside Nurse Practitioners to provide direct patient care.
- Conduct monthly quality reviews of patient charts based on State Regulations and/or procedures.
- Evaluate, assess, provide proper documentation, and give appropriate interventions for patient care.
- Be available to Nurse Practitioners via phone or email for consultation.
- Supervise multiple Nurse Practitioners, providing guidance and support.
- Execute collaborative agreements with Nurse Practitioners and renew as required by State Law.
- Provide feedback to Nurse Practitioners on performance, including identifying areas for improvement.
- Perform any other duties or services required by law or company policy.
- Conduct site visits with respective Nurse Practitioners as needed.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Pediatrics.
- Valid medical license to practice in Alabama.
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric urgent care procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR and PALS certification required.
