Job Description:


The Clinical Lead – High Needs Youth position requires exceptional organizational, clinical, and leadership skills to ensure the successful operation of Youth Services programs. The Clinical Lead plays a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered support and care services, effective coordination with community partners, and strong collaboration with the Clinical Program Supervisor. This position also provides support and oversight for high-needs case management, including clinical guidance for complex cases.


This position requires an associate-level license and credentialing as a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP). The ideal candidate must be able to work effectively under pressure, navigate high-needs and complex clinical concerns, assess and manage risk effectively, and prioritize responsibilities to ensure that patients and families receive timely, appropriate care.

A qualified candidate will also have strong knowledge of intensive referral matching for high-acuity patients and excellent communication skills to collaborate with families, staff, and community partners.

Job Qualifications:

  • 18 years old; and
  • Master’s degree in behavioral health (B.H.) and associate or independently licensed
  • Must have the skills and knowledge necessary to provide the behavioral health services that the agency is authorized to provide and to meet the unique needs of consumer populations served by the agency and meet requirements for a Behavioral Health Professional (BHP)
  • Must be credentialed as a BHP within 90 days of hire.
  • Must be able to demonstrate sufficient knowledge and understanding of human behavior and counseling theories. 
  • Ability to develop routine reports and correspondence.
  • Strong verbal, written, and communications skills
  • Knowledge of Windows environment and/or Electronic Health Records Systems.
  • Ability to provide culturally sensitive services
  • Must have or able to obtain valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • Must possess reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
  • Must maintain current BLS certification
  • TB Screening Record and PPD/QuantiFERON/Chest x-ray as applicable upon hire
  • Vaccinations/Titer’s Test/Declination Form: Flu, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella
