Job Summary
We are seeking a full-time on-site Military Leadership Education Instructor to support Deliberate Leadership Education (DLE) for Military Training Leaders (MTLs) at Keesler AFB. This is more than a traditional teaching role it’s an opportunity to shape the next generation of Air Force leaders through immersive, values-based learning experiences. You’ll deliver high-impact instruction grounded in resiliency, emotional intelligence, ethical leadership, and experiential learning, guiding MTLs through a continuum of professional development that spans from foundational courses to advanced and follow-on modules. This position sits at the intersection of facilitation, coaching, mentorship, and data-informed growth, ideal for someone who leads with purpose, thrives in mission-driven environments, and wants to make a lasting impact. This is a W-2 employee position but could be 1099. By contract, the individual must be a U.S. Citizen.


Job Responsibilities will Include:

  • Lead live instruction for Basic and Advanced MTL courses using Air Force-approved materials and real-world experiential learning strategies.
  • Facilitate follow-on development modules
  • Coach emerging leaders in how to give and receive feedback, manage energy, lead with humility, and navigate interpersonal dynamics.
  • Analyze training effectiveness by designing, conducting, and interpreting quarterly surveys and climate assessments.
  • Advise curriculum refinement by collaborating with military faculty development teams and leadership centers.
  • Present findings and trends to MTL leadership through polished briefings that connect data to strategic recommendations.
  • Model professionalism and uphold ethical conduct standards consistent with DoD policy for trainers and mentors.

Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree (Counseling, Leadership, Education, etc.)
    OR Master’s with ACTP coaching certification
    OR Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of coaching and certification
  • Strong adult education and leadership training experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and writing skills 

Preferred: Prior service (active duty, Guard/Reserve, retired), military spouse, or experience supporting military learning and leadership programs.

The pay range for this role is:

60,000 - 70,000 USD per year (Keesler AFB)
