Looking for a career where your work truly matters? At VB Spine, you’ll be part of a mission-focused team that supports surgeons during life-changing spinal procedures. We’re the largest privately held spine company and among the largest family-owned medical technology companies in the world, dedicated to innovation, surgeon partnerships, and improving patient outcomes in spine care. As a Demand Planner in our Supply Chain function within the Spine division, you’ll develop and maintain high-quality consensus demand plans by combining statistical analysis with cross-functional insights — ensuring accurate forecasts that support business objectives, product launches, and supply chain reliability.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create and maintain high-quality demand forecasts and analytics by assembling and analyzing historical orders/shipments, item master data, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and product life-cycle information
  • Serve as the primary demand planning contact for Marketing, Sales, Finance, IBP Franchise Managers, and Global Operations Master Schedulers
  • Facilitate and lead the demand planning process, coordinating and consolidating plans with other Demand Planners to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Act as a liaison to cross-functional senior management, providing education on the demand plan, its implications, risks, and key assumptions during monthly review cycles
  • Partner with the global Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team to ensure demand plans are effectively communicated across the supply function
  • Successfully partner with cross-functional teams in monthly demand planning working sessions and Executive Demand Reviews
  • Ensure demand plans are collected and approved by the required business and financial leaders according to the monthly process cadence
  • Support product life-cycle management for new product launches and product exits, monitoring SKU levels and recommending rationalization initiatives
  • Collaborate with planning analysts and forecast modelers to develop reporting that supports better business decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement in demand planning processes, procedures, policies, and technologies
  • Improve forecast quality by analyzing forecast metrics and recommending action plans in partnership with the central forecasting team
  • Support training and education sessions within the demand planning team and across the organization
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices and advocate for their adoption where appropriate

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (concentration in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or Finance preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Management/Forecasting, Sales Operations/Planning, Finance/Accounting, or Marketing
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated technical/data science abilities
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with tools such as Access, ERP systems, Tableau, SQL, and Power BI
  • Prior experience with demand planning tools (e.g., Oracle Demantra, Demand Solutions, or SteelWedge) is a plus
  • APICS, IBF, or other professional supply chain certification preferred
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain interactions and interdependencies
  • Experience using statistical software packages and performing extensive spreadsheet analysis
  • Fluency in English (second language is a plus)
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, communicate complex issues clearly, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
