About the role

We are looking for a motivated QA Automation Engineer Apprentice who is passionate about software quality and automation. The candidate will assist the QA team in developing and maintaining automated tests to ensure product reliability and performance.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications.
• Execute automation and manual test cases to validate application functionality.
• Work with QA and development teams to identify, report, and track defects.
• Support the creation of test plans, test cases, and test documentation.
• Participate in test execution, debugging automation scripts, and improving test coverage.
• Learn and contribute to API testing and UI automation frameworks.
• Help maintain test data and test environments.

About you

Key requirements:

• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (Playwright preferred).
• Familiarity with Python or any programming language (Java, JavaScript, etc.).
• Understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
• Basic knowledge of API testing concepts (REST APIs, Postman, etc.).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Basic understanding of Git or version control systems.
• Knowledge of automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to bug tracking tools like Jira.
