About the role
We are looking for a Bilingual Analyst to join us within the firm’s Vcheck Intelligence (VI) unit. VI is a team of multi-lingual investigators and analysts who conduct deep-five investigative due diligence research utilizing public records. This is an entry-level role with the framework to grow your career internally. It is a perfect position for someone who is ambitious and is passionate about having a career in the investigations field. Candidates fluent in Spanish, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Dutch, Arabic, or Portuguese are preferred.
What you'll do
- Analysts are responsible for leading and managing multiple assignments from start to finish, conducting extensive Internet, database, and media research into companies and individuals to provide our clients with an accurate assessment of the overall reputation of a subject company and its principals
- Conduct in-depth research in English and other local languages, regarding companies and individuals using public record databases, commercial and proprietary databases, media sources the internet, and human intelligence
- Analyze research, organize findings and synthesize relevant information; integrate human intelligence findings with public records information to create a seamless narrative
- Write well structured, logical and objective reports regarding assessments on the status, legitimacy, general background, and overall reputation of a company and its principals with minimal edits required
- This role will initially be dedicated 100% to research and report writing
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Research tenacity and superb attention to detail
- Exceptional critical thinking, writing, and editing skills along with an investigative mindset
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in International Relations/Affairs, Political Science, Regional Studies, Journalism, Criminal Justice, Law, Business, or other related areas of study
- Availability to work a full-time schedule with the understanding that additional hours and weekend work may be eligible for time and a half pay (OT)
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Though this position is 100% remote, candidates are required to work in the United States.

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively respond to questions from various stakeholders including leadership, managers, and employees
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram
- Proficiency in the following applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Suite, Slack, and Microsoft Teams
