About the role
We are looking for a driven, organized, and experienced individual to support the operations of our Vcheck Intelligence team. The Senior Manager, VI Operations will be responsible for client engagement, intake of all projects, scheduling, data management, and vendor management. This role will also be responsible for supporting our VI team directly by overseeing metrics and improving and communicating process and procedure to ensure a high quality product work is delivered to our clients.
What you'll be doing
Reporting and Data Management
- Oversee VI’s data and ensure everything is properly entered and maintained in Jira, and Float
- Establish insightful monthly reporting on productivity, capacity, product mix, vendor spend, and language needs
- Review, understand, revise, improve and track KPIs for all teams conducting VI investigations with accuracy and quality
Team and Project Management:
- Participate in meetings and ongoing discussions on process changes that affect VI. e.g. Salesforce and Jira updates, shared resources, automation updates, etc.
- Direct and support day-to-day operations management by working closely with investigations leadership to ensure capacity is properly managed and projects are tasked quickly, efficiently and properly
- Implement new policies/procedures, SOPs as needed for scalability of the team
Order Processing
- Scope all new VI opportunities by identifying jurisdictions and ensuring we can ID the subjects, reaching out to contractors if a language outside our internal capacity, or rushing cases that need to be outsourced
- Update due dates and move status to customer success completed
- Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success on missing info, clarifications, additional jurisdictions, etc
Case Assignment
- Input projects into scheduler system, Float
- Assign projects in Float and case management platform, Jira, based on the team's capacity, language skills, scope skills, PTO, etc.
- Understand the capacity of the team and how much can they complete based on scope, subject profile, jurisdiction, etc., so you can assign work in a fair and efficient manner
Vendor Responsibilities
- Handle vendor communications and tasking for open-source projects (L1, premiers, and custom reports)
- Understand vendor capacity, tasking specific vendors for language and capacity assistance, answering scope questions, uploading vendor cost, reason, due date, and reports to Jira and SharePoint, providing feedback, sending all documents they may need (including TLO, LN, NSCH, client provided info, updated templates, etc) and ensuring reports are delivered in a timely manner
- Approve all Vendor invoices for VI and providing timelines to accounts payable
- Ensure all Vendor invoices match Jira records
- Other duties as assigned by management
About you
Key requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, political science, international studies, business administration, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in due diligence, risk management, or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and success.
- 1+ years of experience in managing and developing teams.
- Extensive knowledge of due diligence best practices, regulations (including FCRA), and industry standards.
- Strong understanding of public record investigation methodologies and resources (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw, TLO).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Power BI/Tableau for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization
- Proficient in CRM platforms including Salesforce
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong planning, organizational and project management skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience in vendor management.
