Vector Health is on a mission to help hospitals secure financial aid for their patients by identifying medical mutual aid from non-profits. We work closely with rural hospital CEOs and CFOs, leveraging patient data to find funding opportunities, apply for reimbursement, and manage the entire application and money flow process.

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, operationally minded Customer Operations & Strategy Lead to join us as our first hire. You’ll work directly with our co-founders, Annie (your direct manager) and Braden, to build a repeatable product experience and manage all customer relationships. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, can figure things out independently, and is both detail-oriented and strategic. You will play a key role in shaping our customer operations and ensuring that our hospital partners successfully secure financial aid for their patients.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own customer relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for our rural hospital clients (CEOs, CFOs, and other key stakeholders), ensuring they successfully leverage our product.
  • Navigate hospital systems: Work across different departments within hospitals to gather the right patient data and drive the funding application process.
  • Operational execution: Manage the entire patient funding process—from data collection to application submission to financial reconciliation.
  • Process optimization: Work with the co-founders to refine and build a scalable, repeatable process for securing funding.
  • Technology & data expertise: Become an expert in our data-driven platform, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and outcomes for our customers.
  • Research & problem-solving: Identify new funding opportunities, stay up-to-date on non-profit eligibility requirements, and creatively solve challenges that arise.
  • Customer training & enablement: Help hospitals integrate our product into their workflow, ensuring seamless adoption and usage.
