Who are you?
As a Senior Account Executive at Venn, you’ll own complex sales cycles from qualified handoff through close, focusing on larger, more strategic accounts. You’ll work closely with BDRs, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Customer Success to deliver a best-in-class buyer experience while consistently exceeding revenue targets. You’ll also play a key role in refining enterprise sales motions, influencing messaging, and mentoring more junior sellers through example and collaboration.

- Own inbound opportunities after qualification by the BDR team, managing the full sales cycle from first AE-led conversation through close
- Prospect into large mid-market and enterprise accounts to generate outbound pipeline
- Lead deep discovery with IT, Security, and business stakeholders to uncover technical, operational, and risk-related priorities
- Develop and execute multi-threaded deal strategies across complex buying committees
- Partner closely with Sales Engineers to deliver tailored demos, solution architectures, and ROI-driven proposals
- Deliver compelling executive-level presentations that clearly articulate Venn’s differentiated value
- Navigate procurement, security reviews, and legal processes to drive deals to close
- Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and position Venn effectively in enterprise environments
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Implementation teams to ensure smooth handoff and long-term customer success
- Accurately forecast revenue, maintain pipeline hygiene, and consistently meet or exceed quarterly and annual targets
What You Will Bring:
- 10+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with a strong focus on large mid-market and enterprise accounts
- Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in cybersecurity or adjacent technologies (e.g., Zero Trust, VDI, MDM, endpoint security, network or data security, DLP, compliance)
- Consistent history of exceeding quota in consultative, solution-oriented sales environments
- Experience navigating long sales cycles, procurement, and security reviews
- Strong technical curiosity and ability to translate complex concepts into executive-level value
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with senior decision-makers
- Highly organized with strong forecasting discipline and CRM hygiene
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up environment
