About the role

Ventricle Health’s Market Performance team is seeking a multidimensional Senior Business Analyst to join our growing team.  This individual will measure the impact and performance of our programs and operations, and contribute to the design and evolution of our reporting and analytics suite.  You will play a critical role in shaping our internal operations and client-facing strategy as we grow and scale as a data-driven organization.


What you'll do

Partner Reporting & Analytics

  • Build, maintain and enhance a suite of reports shared with external audiences - including clients, investors and the Board of Directors  
  • Perform ad hoc analyses across enrollment, health outcomes, patient satisfaction and financial return on investment (ROI)
  • Participate in the development and presentation of results to external stakeholders
  • Provide requirements to Data Engineers and Architects as we build the optimal data infrastructure

Performance & Outcomes Measurement

  • Partner cross-functionally to implement and maximize referral pathways that generate patient enrollment
  • Measure and monitor KPIs with respect to operational effectiveness, clinical and financial outcomes, and the impact of various initiatives
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track and visualize performance metrics
  • Analyze trends in patient care, cost effectiveness, and quality metrics to identify areas for improvement

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Partner with Finance, Commercial, Clinical and Market leadership to develop enrollment and revenue budgets and forecasts within each market 
  • Participate in the modeling of financial ROI as contractually required

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of healthcare and/or business analytics experience at a health plan, provider group, consulting firm or related vendor
  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or business related field
  • Experience and proficiency in designing and executing financial models
  • Strong critical thinking, communication and business acumen
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and adapt quickly in a dynamic, constantly evolving business environment 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with SQL, SAS or related programming languages are a plus
  • Experience with BI Tools and platforms are a plus
  • Medical and Pharmacy Claims experience is a plus
