The opportunity. 


The Registry Administrator plays a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the Verra Registry. In this role, you will work directly with registry users to manage accounts, support project submissions, and enable the issuance, transfer, and retirement of verified units that drive real-world environmental impact. 

You will review submissions for accuracy and completeness, respond to user enquiries with a strong service mindset, and collaborate closely with certification, finance, and technology teams to keep registry operations running smoothly. Beyond daily operations, you will contribute to ongoing improvements by helping refine processes, enhance registry functions, and improve internal and external user documentation. The role.  

  • Support registry users with opening and using their accounts, including creating new project records, and issuing, transferring, and retiring VCUs and other units.  
  • Review documents submitted by accountholders for completeness and accuracy. 
  • Respond to accountholder enquiries and registry-related requests, always maintaining a high standard of registry user satisfaction.  
  • Coordinate closely with the Verra program team to ensure project listing, registration, and issuance requests are processed efficiently.  
  • Work closely with other Verra departments on user requests and issues.  
  • Work with the Verra Registry developer to resolve data and software issues and participate in functional testing of Registry system enhancements  
  • Draft and update FAQs, user guides and standard operating procedures for our customers and the registry administrator team.  
  • Process Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks on new registry account applications. Coordinate with the Verra finance team to track and process accountholder invoices.  

 

What we would like to see. 

  • At least three years of relevant work experience.  
  • A bachelor’s degree, or higher, in a relevant 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with an emphasis on interacting with stakeholders in a highly responsive and professional manner, even under high-pressure situations.  
  • Strong attention to detail.  
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and to work quickly and accurately, delivering to multiple deadlines.  
  • A willingness to occasionally work off-hours, including weekends and holidays, as demand for Registry services may require.  
  • Culturally aware with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders and partners from different countries and cultures.  
  • Self-starter with ability to excel in a professional environment with limited supervision. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The final compensation offered will be contingent upon role, level, and location. Our Talent team can share the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. 


Salary is one component of Verra’s total compensation package which also includes:
