Role: Engineering Tech Lead – Salesforce and C# 

Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt  

Location: Remote 

Role Overview: 
We’re looking for an Engineering Tech Lead to join our team as an individual contributor and peer leader. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the architecture, development, and delivery of core features such as Policy, Transaction Downloads, and PDF Document Generation for our Veruna Agency Management System. 
 
What You’ll Do: 

  • Innovate & Develop: Spend at least 50% of your time coding, actively contributing to the development of our enterprise Agency Management System, including user experiences, API services, and data models. 

  • Lead & Collaborate: Guide a talented team of engineers with diverse skill sets (Salesforce Apex, C#, Python) to implement best practices, secure coding standards, and robust system architectures. 

  • Architect Solutions: Take ownership of technical project management and design scalable application architectures that meet customer needs. 

  • Drive Quality: Ensure high-quality product delivery through code reviews, TDD/BDD practices, and a culture of continuous improvement. 

  • Communicate & Influence: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate our vision into actionable plans, leveraging data to showcase progress and impact.

    Key Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. 

  • 8+ years of software engineering and enterprise architecture experience. 

  • 3+ years in a technical leadership or architect role. 

  • 5+ years in Salesforce software engineering (Apex, Lightning Components, Metadata, etc) 

  • 5+ years in C# .Net software engineering 

  • Proven experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS). 

  • Strong background in delivering high-traffic, data-centric applications with a focus on security and performance. 
     
    What Will Make You Stand Out: 

  • Experience with microservices, data modeling, software and system design patterns. 

  • Deep understanding of software design principles, including modularization and clean code practices. 

  • Familiarity with TDD/BDD and coaching engineers in high-quality standards. 

  • Experience in regulated industries like finance or healthcare.

The base pay range for this role is $140,000 - $160,000. Within this range, base pay will be determined based on relevant experience, education, training/certifications, skillset, and work location.
