The Opportunity 


As an Account Director, US and Canada at Vesta, you’ll own relationships with some of our most strategic telecommunications customers — driving growth, retention, and long-term value. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor on payment strategy, helping clients balance conversion, risk, and profitability while expanding Vesta’s footprint across their business. 


This is a strategic, growth-oriented role — ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex challenges at the intersection of payments, fraud prevention, and customer experience. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Own the customer relationship for a portfolio of enterprise accounts in telecommunications, including mobile network operators and mobile virtual network operators 
  • Act as a strategic payments advisor, guiding clients on ways to improve approval rates, reduce fraud, and grow revenue using Vesta’s solutions. 
  • Develop and execute account plans that expand relationships, drive adoption of new products, and increase revenue across regions and business units. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with the development, product, and growth expansion teams to deliver solutions that align with client goals. 
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and present performance metrics, ROI, and growth opportunities to senior stakeholders. 
  • Identify and close expansion opportunities, including cross-sell, upsell, and multi-market deployment. 
  • Serve as the internal voice of the customer, influencing product direction and strategy. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 10+ years of experience in account management, strategic partnerships, or customer success with enterprise clients. 
  • Strong background in payments, fintech, or fraud prevention — you understand authorization rates, interchange, chargebacks, and risk dynamics. 
  • Proven track record of growing and expanding strategic accounts through consultative selling and value-based partnerships. 
  • Excellent relationship builder — comfortable engaging with executives, product leaders, and payment teams alike. 
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate analytics into actionable business insights. 
  • Skilled communicator and presenter, able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
