What You’ll Do..

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our hospital’s success by:

🐾 Patient Care: Helping pets feel safe and comfortable, assisting with medications, feeding, walking, and monitoring their wellbeing.
🩺 Treatment Support: Preparing exam rooms, assisting veterinarians and RVTs during surgeries and procedures, collecting samples, and running basic lab tests.
💬 Client Interaction: Greeting clients warmly, taking patient histories, and educating pet owners on preventive care with compassion.
🏥 Hospital Maintenance: Keeping our hospital clean, safe, and well-stocked, from surgical instruments to everyday supplies.
📋 Admin & Operations: Updating patient records, supporting invoicing, handling prescription refills, and pitching in at the front desk when needed.
🤝 Teamwork: Collaborating with veterinarians, RVTs, CSRs, and fellow VAs in a fun and supportive environment that values humor and teamwork.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a Veterinary Assistant (moderate experience preferred).
• Strong customer service skills — you know how to engage clients warmly and de-escalate when needed.
• Organized, dependable, and proactive.
• A team player who thrives in a busy, hands-on environment.
• Passion for learning and growing — we’ll provide opportunities for training and continuing education.
