About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer to join our Agile/Scrum team and play a critical role in shaping the quality of our expanding Vimachem MES Platform. In this role, your work will directly influence the success of our new product releases and the reliability of our modules used by global pharmaceutical manufacturers.

You will collaborate closely with engineers, testers, and DevOps experts to ensure every release meets the highest standards. Your testing strategies will help us move faster without compromising quality—and your attention to detail will elevate the experience for users who rely on our platform to make critical decisions.

Join us—your contribution here doesn’t just improve code, it helps deliver better healthcare to the world.

What will you do as a Senior Software QA Engineer?

  • Strategic Automation Ownership: Shape and evolve our test automation platform. Your input will be instrumental in defining our long-term automation strategy as we scale and introduce new modules.
  • Process & Documentation Leadership: Contribute to and improve QA processes by creating clear, reusable documentation that enhances efficiency, consistency, and collaboration across squads.
  • Comprehensive Testing Execution: Design and execute both manual and automated tests to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards across an expanding suite of products.
  • Quality Advocacy & Issue Analysis: Review, track, and analyze bugs and quality issues, identifying root causes and opportunities for long-term improvements.
  • Proactive Quality Leadership: Identify risks early and champion quality throughout the development lifecycle. You'll propose and implement improvements that prevent defects and drive continuous enhancement of our testing approach.
  • Product Impact Awareness: Understands the business-critical nature of the product, recognizing how quality directly affects end-users and the company’s reputation.
  • Industry Awareness & Innovation: Stay current with QA best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends to continuously optimize our testing approach.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements, align on priorities, and deliver impactful, high-quality releases.

The main qualifications for this Senior Software QA Engineer role are:

  • Experience: You bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in both manual and automated software testing, with a demonstrated ability to elevate quality through smart use of modern tools and practices. You’ve shipped real products, solved complex problems, and left QA processes better than you found them.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Technical Proficiency: You’re proficient with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and know when and how to leverage them effectively to drive scalable, maintainable testing.
  • Programming Fluency: Comfortable reading and writing code in .NET, C#, TypeScript, or similar object-oriented languages. You don’t just automate—you build reliable, testable systems alongside developers.
  • API & UI Testing Mastery: Experience with UI testing and API testing on RESTful services, particularly within the .NET framework or any similar.
  • Cloud Enthusiast: You have a strong interest in cloud technologies and architecture, and the ability to identify fit-for-purpose solutions that support modern DevOps and deployment practices.
  • Detail-Oriented: Exceptional ability to identify, document, and communicate bugs with all necessary technical information.
  • Process Optimizer: You’re constantly looking for ways to improve test strategies, tools, and workflows—not just to keep up, but to stay ahead.
