This position is a fully remote position for EU-based candidates.



About the Role

As a Senior Implementation Project Manager, you will manage the successful implementation and expansion of the Vimachem Pharma MES platform, including multiple software modules (EBR, OEE, Logbooks, and Serialization) and hardware (Vimachem Edge IIoT device, Robotics, and Machine Vision) devices. You will be deeply involved in all aspects of global projects, ensuring accountability for the business and the technical success of the solutions.

You will be leading the design, execution, and hypercare of large, complex MES implementations with some of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers globally, and also managing a highly motivated, growing team of project managers.


Responsibilities

  • Design and lead the execution of project plans that drive successful, measurable deployment aligned with Vimachem’s mission to provide Pharma and Biotech manufacturers with the fastest-to-deploy Manufacturing Operations Management (MoM) platform in the market.
  • Become an expert in Vimachem products so you can efficiently understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and customer needs.
  • Optimize the implementation process of existing Vimachem SaaS products and design the implementation process of newly introduced products.
  • Act as the single point of contact for large complex projects: Develop a project communication plan and ensure execution of the plan, resulting in professional and consistent communication with the customer and other stakeholders.
  • Proven experience managing high-performing teams; this role will directly lead a team of Project Managers, ensuring alignment, accountability, and professional development through structured bi-annual performance reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple concurrent customer implementation projects le by their team, with end-to-end responsibility for ensuring each project is delivered on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Actively manage risks to identify changes and mitigation strategies.
  • Clearly communicate all schedule constraints and project milestones.
  • Effectively negotiate scope and schedule changes.
  • Accurately identify and communicate internal and external customers' needs and risks.
  • Drive process and technology improvement efforts: Drive continuous improvement through successful lessons-learned / project retrospective activities that result in appropriate process or product changes. Lead initiatives to help the organization operate more efficiently and effectively. Be passionate about continuous improvement.
  • Act as a liaison between the delivery and product teams to continuously identify product improvements that can lead to more efficient implementation.
  • Organize and facilitate project reviews that ensure key stakeholders are presented with accurate and concise information to make decisions.
  • Influence others to ensure successful delivery: frequently collaborate with other departments such as product, software development, R&D, operations, quality, and sales, and lead with influence to ensure the success of your project and set the stage for the future success of your next project, working with these stakeholders. Develop a sense of urgency in stakeholders while also building a solid foundation for future collaboration.
  • Lead project analysis on resource, schedule & budget planning, and risk assessment: Monitor project duration, status, quality, and costs; escalate issues when necessary. Evaluates and approves changes that impact the scope, budget, or schedule of a project.
  • Utilize tools like Monday.com, Gong, and HubSpot, and internal and external AI capabilities to continuously optimize project plans and resources.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience leading and directing customer-facing SaaS projects. Pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing experience is preferable.
  • Experience in implementation projects of one of the following categories: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Quality Management Systems (QMS, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
  • Experience in managing customer-facing solution delivery with strong communication skills, presentation skills and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and work effectively with teams.
  • Strong understanding of business concepts such as pricing, costs, margins, and ROI.
  • Strong technical and executive communication skills, including technical writing skills and fluency in AI-assisted writing.
  • A PMP or PMI-ACP certification or be able to attain one within 6 months of hire.
  • Familiarity with regulations and standards such as FDA 21CFR11, ISO 13484 and GAMP 5 is a plus.
  • Fluency in French, Italian, or Spanish is a strong plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% based on the Vimachem modules and the clients you serve.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline or equivalent.
