Eligibility Management Analyst

About the position:

We’re looking for full-time Eligibility Management Coordinators for our Eligibility Management Team in the Medellin area. As part of our Eligibility Team you will have the chance to help us improve the healthcare experience in the US for thousands of patients by helping them with their eligibility information and inquiries (incl. eligibility verification, eligibility updates, coordination of benefits, etc.). 

Salary:  3.000.000 COP , Plus Bonus 650.000 COP    
Indefinite Contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter new member eligibility records into EZ Cap following established guidelines

  • Manage the direct upload of new patient / member details into Eligibility Management portal
  • Validate coordination of benefits (COB) to determine payment responsibilities
  • Verify current and past patient eligibility

  • Obtain eligibility requests via email, and eligibility portal and perform eligibility checks 

  • Provide assistance to personnel from other departments with eligibility-related issues

  • Review accounts, providing updates and information current plan statuses

  • Help to train new employees and inform them about the TWH’s procedures and management policies

Required skills and qualifications: 

  • University degree

  • Strong communication, both written and verbal (candidates must be fluent in English, C1 or above required)

  • Expertise in managing administrative tasks

  • Excellent skills in use of personal computer software programs including but not limited to MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Technical experience managing data across multiple platforms
  • Demonstrated critical thinking experience
  • Great active listening skills

  • Strong time management and organizational skills

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills 

  • Preferred but not required: Experience with EZ Cap, EZ EDI, eligibility management software

  • Experience in US healthcare is a plus
