The Opportunity

As the Events Coordinator, you will manage the planning, logistics, and execution of both internal and external events. This role will coordinate with team members throughout the organization to ensure that all events, whether they be trade shows or internal happy hours and work sessions, run smoothly.

As an Events Coordinator at Visio, you will support the Marketing Department by:

• Assisting in the planning and coordination of company-sponsored events, trade shows, conferences, webinars, and client meetings
• Organizing event details such as catering, A/V setup, marketing materials, shipping, and travel arrangements
• Collaborating with internal departments (marketing, sales, leadership) to ensure event objectives are met
• Supporting the creation of event-related collateral (signage, registration materials, post-event surveys, etc.)
• Providing on-site or virtual support during events and ensuring smooth day-of execution
• Host pre- and post-event meetings to discuss expectations and learnings from past events
• Communicating project updates and outcomes with stakeholders and leadership
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business need
• Work Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST
• Hybrid position: Required to be in the office from time to time (applicants must be within a commutable distance of our office)
• Salary Range: $44,000 – 53,000/annually. (Exempt level position) 

What We Are Looking For

• Someone with 6 months of Visio Lending work experience, with no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months
• Someone with 1 year of administrative or event planning experience
• Someone with excellent organizational, negotiating, and multitasking skills
• Someone who is a motivated self-starter, organized, disciplined, and service-oriented
• Someone with knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
• Someone with attention to detail & accuracy  
• Someone with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment  
• Someone who is proactive and can work independently  
• Someone with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills  

What We Prefer to Find

• Someone with 3 years of administrative or event planning experience
• Someone proficient with A/V setups and presentation materials
