The Opportunity:

 

We are seeking a Learning and Development Manager to support and enhance company and executive strategy by developing training programs that support development, reinforce culture, and align with strategic priorities.

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Partnering with the Executive team to develop leadership and management development programs
  • Building trust and partnering with leaders and managers for individual and group development needs
  • Coaching groups and individuals to improve performance, enhance development efforts, and reinforce culture
  • Assessing training and development needs through one-on-one interactions, surveys, interviews, and communication with managers and leadership
  • Developing unique training programs that focus on the overall employee experience
  • Launching a formal mentorship or peer-coaching network, matching emerging leaders with senior partners
  • Developing standards or templates for job-specific training to be used by groups across the organization
  • Reviewing and recommending standard courses to meet training needs
  • Creating or acquiring a training procedure manual, guides, and course materials
  • Utilizing a variety of learning methods and technologies to engage employees and enhance learning outcomes
  • Presenting or administering learning and development activities, tracking attendance, tracking assessment results, and course completion
  • Providing follow-up training for practical application and efficacy
  • Evaluating learning and development program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback
  • Maintaining knowledge of the latest trends in training, learning, and development
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in training programs
  • Managing relationships with external training vendors and providers
  • Serving as a system administrator for L&D platforms and troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Documenting L&D operational procedures and learning toolkits
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs
  • Work Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST 
  • Available Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT
  • Salary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 (Exempt level position)

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Someone with 5 years of relevant learning and development experience, including creating management or leadership development programs
  • Someone with a bachelor’s degree in psychology, Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field
  • Someone proficient with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods, and Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Someone with experience in instructional design, adult learning theories, and organizational development
  • Someone with experience in conducting needs assessments and developing learning objectives
  • Someone who has demonstrated the ability to communicate and interact with executive leadership
  • Someone who is a self-starter who can work independently with individuals at all levels
  • Someone with a positive outlook
  • Someone who has demonstrated the ability to embrace change as an opportunity and to inspire others to do the same
  • Someone with knowledge of adult learning principles, trends, learning management systems, and e-learning platforms
  • Someone who has demonstrated the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Someone with strong problem-solving skills, the ability to think creatively, and adapt as needed
  • Someone with the ability to analyze training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement
  • Someone with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Someone with excellent verbal and written communication, public speaking, and meeting facilitation skills
  • Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. The current manager notification is needed to apply for a vacant position. Any applicant that does not meet these conditions will require approval from the executive team member over the hiring department prior to extending the job offer

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Someone with experience in the mortgage or lending industry
  • Someone with a PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Someone with a CPTM, CPTD, or equivalent certification
