The Opportunity:

We are looking for an Account Executive to work in a remote setting focusing on outbound calls and/or inbound leads and establishing broker relationships to originate NON-QM Investor Residential loans.

As an Account Executive with Visio, you will contribute to the Sales Department by:

  • Working in a remote setting focused on inbound leads to originate loans
  • Originating a portfolio of mortgage loans through the identification and development of relationships with realtors, mortgage brokers, and investors
  • Managing a pipeline with multiple prospects
  • Analyzing potential loan markets and developing referral networks to locate prospects for loans
  • Recruiting and managing referral sources:

                        - Participating in determining how and where referral sources advertise our products

                        - Participating in establishing processes for distribution of leads for referral sources

                        - Identifying and creating new referral lead sources

                        - Overseeing processing of referral payments

  • Articulating a high level of understanding of real estate investors’ needs, discussing their short- and long-term objectives including return targets
  • Educating and guiding customers on registering on the VFS website and understanding how to utilize the website
  • Understanding customer needs and helping them select a loan product that would help them meet their goals
  • Working with management to actively project closed loan volume and consistently meet funding goals
  • Remaining a front-line contact for customers
  • Developing and applying strategy and tools to ensure exceptional customer experience by analyzing recorded phone calls made and received on the VFS phone system
  • Exhibiting strong initiative and attention to detail and possessing the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • Working effectively in a collaborative work environment and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Engaging in a planned program of self-development and training, ensuring continuing knowledge of products, sales process, and regulatory developments
  • Working with management and team members to develop professional, respectful relationships between internal staff 
  • Work Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST 
  • Available Remote Locations: AL, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IA, IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT, WI
  • Salary Range: Base Salary + Commissions (OTE First year = $100k plus, even top performers can earn over $400K)


What We Are Looking For:

  • Someone with 2 + years of sales experience
  • Someone with a High school diploma/GED equivalent
  • Someone with knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
  • Someone with the ability to use standard office equipment, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, personal computer, and other peripheral devices
  • Someone who is a self-starter, highly motivated, goal-oriented, passionate, high achieving, and hardworking
  • Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. Current Manager notification is needed in order to apply for a vacant position. Any applicant that does not meet these conditions will require approval from the executive team member over the hiring department prior to extending a job offer
What We prefer to find:
  • Someone with a bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Someone with strong sales abilities within Mortgage Loan Originations
  • Someone with thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies
  • Someone with working knowledge of underwriting requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs, and private investors
  • Someone familiar with local, state, and national laws (e.g., zoning ordinances, Truth-in-Lending, RESPA, energy audit requirements, and other applicable laws)
  • Someone with the ability to analyze financial information
