The Opportunity:


We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to play a critical role in supporting the Business Technology team’s goals of implementing new mortgage technology and managing the ongoing support of the platforms. The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business users, developers, system analysts, PMO, as well as Visio’s product & strategy team, and senior operations leadership.  

As a Business Systems Analyst with Visio, you will contribute to the Technology Department by:

  • Facilitating client conversations to collect business requirements, write business requirement documents and test cases, perform minor system configuration, business analysis, data analysis, and UAT support 
  • Leveraging embedded configuration tools to create workflow automation to streamline various functions across the mortgage loan lifecycle 
  • Collaborating with clients, operations, and/or vendors to understand business requirements, with the ability to convert requirements into effective documentation 
  • Supporting quality assurance and user acceptance testing, reporting bugs or defects 
  • Working with internal groups and outside vendors to ensure successful and quality project completion 
  • Documenting solutions that leverage the Mortgage Cadence Platform, an industry-leading Loan Origination technology system, as well as other systems utilized by the Visio operations teams 
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs
  • Work Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST 
  • Available Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT
  • Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 (Exempt level position)


What We Are Looking For:

  • Someone with a High school diploma/GED equivalent 
  • Someone with 5 years of Business Analyst / Requirements Gathering experience 
  • Someone with 3 years of mortgage lending related experience  
  • Someone with experience within Mortgage Originations, Sales Process, Loan Processing, Underwriting, Closing/funding, and post-closing in a business analyst capacity 
  • Someone who has experience with the Mortgage Cadence Platform 
  • Someone with deep knowledge of the mortgage loan process, specifically within origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post-closing 
  • Someone with the ability to convert requirements into effective workflow design documentation 
  • Someone with the ability to work effectively across multiple cross-functional teams, such as operations, application development, product management, and key vendor partnerships 
  • Someone with knowledge of SDLC lifecycles, such as Waterfall and Agile 
  • Someone with the ability to use standard office equipment, printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, personal computer, and other peripheral devices
  • Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months. Current Manager notification is needed in order to apply for a vacant position. What We prefer to find:

  • Someone with experience working on projects related to the mortgage loan lifecycle, from loan setup through post-closing 
  • Someone with experience in the end-to-end implementation of large lending applications 
  • Someone with knowledge of the Secondary Mortgage Market
