The Opportunity 

We seek a Funding Coordinator to obtain and review signed Closing documents related to the assurance of a first lien position for each mortgage loan originated by the company.

You will contribute to the Closing department by: 

  • Reviewing and approving executed loan documentation for accuracy and capital partner acceptance
  • Communicating with internal and external customers, borrowers, brokers, title companies, attorneys, and sales agents via phone and email as needed to conduct business to address errors/missing documentation
  • Sending executed loan documentation for review and approval by the Closing Manager or Sr. Closers
  • Issuing funding to the title companies and/or closing attorneys, once the loan is closed
  • Assembling and uploading all capital partner packages to ensure a smooth funding process
  • Updating all systems of record with closing information to ensure data integrity.
  • Working in collaboration with the Post-Closing Specialist to acquire/complete necessary documentation
  • Sending collateral tracking to the accounting team
  • Ensuring all required documentation is completed, organized, and retained
  • Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, and ensuring that they are communicated and implemented within the team
  • Collaborating with departments across the organization to foster a streamlined process and drive quality improvement 
  • Completing other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs 
  • Available Remote Locations: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, NC, OH, SC, TX, UT
  • Work Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST
  • Salary Range: $21.50 - $22.60/hr (Non-Exempt/Hourly/Overtime Eligible)

 What We Are Looking For

  • Someone with a High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent
  • Someone with 1 year of experience in mortgage documentation/funding, post-closing, escrow, or mortgage operations
  • Someone who is a motivated self-starter, organized, disciplined, and service-oriented attitude
  • Someone proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Someone with attention to detail & accuracy 
  • Someone who is proactive and can work independently 
  • Someone with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills 
  • Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience, which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months.  Current manager notification is needed in order to apply for a vacant position.  Any applicant who does not meet these conditions will require approval from the executive team member over the hiring department before extending a job offer

What We Prefer to Find:  

  • Someone with 2–3 years of experience in mortgage documentation/funding, post-closing, escrow, or mortgage operations
  • Someone with an Associate's and/or bachelor's degree in Business or related, or relevant work experience 
  • Someone who has experience with Calyx Point
