The Opportunity

As an Assistant Closing Manager, you will assist the Sr. Closing Manager in managing and directing the daily activities of the Closing team and facilitate Visio’s loan closing process, ensuring everything is accurate and delivered in a timely manner. In this role, you will work with other divisions within the company to ensure best practices in compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and guidelines.
You will contribute to the closing team by:
- Assisting the Sr. Closing Manager with the management of the Closing department’s personnel, including training, hiring, coaching, mentoring, and setting operations and service goals
- Working closely with the Sr. Closing Manager to assist with daily team operations
- Participating in the monitoring and enforcement of a clear set of review metrics for the Closing team
- Providing recommendations to the Sr. Closing Manager on process improvement opportunities
- Providing feedback to the Sr. Closing Manager on productivity, quality, and areas of concern
- Providing training and daily support to the Closing team members
- Maintaining and updating department training materials and documents
- Delegating tasks and setting deadlines for the Closing team members
- Assisting the Closing Manager with support and guidance regarding performance issues or deficiencies
- Serving as a liaison for all loan closings and providing top-notch customer service with extreme attention to detail
- Performing Closer, Funding Coordinator, or Closing Coordinator duties as necessary
- Be the primary and first point of contact to answer questions regarding guidelines and SOPs, and escalate issues to senior management when necessary
- Reviewing and approving unsigned/signed loan documents
- Reviewing and providing final wire approval to the accounting department
- Reviewing and approving warehouse lender tapes
- Assisting with vendor management (Title and AMCs)
- Promoting a positive culture where team members enjoy their work and take pride in personal and company achievements
- Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics code
- Completing assigned reporting as needed
- Completing other responsibilities and duties as assigned based on business needs

- Work Schedule: Monday–Friday: 8:30 am – 5:30 pm CST
- Salary Range: $57,000 – $63,000/annually. (Exempt level position)
What We Are Looking For
- Someone with 6 months of Visio Lending work experience, which includes no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months
- Someone who is a motivated self-starter, organized, disciplined, and service-oriented attitude
- Someone proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Someone with attention to detail & accuracy
- Someone with the ability to handle a pipeline and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Someone who is proactive and can work independently
- Someone with strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
What We Prefer to Find
- 3 years of relevant loan closing experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
