Vocation Plus Connections, Inc. is a community-based developmental program serving adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). VPCI is hiring for the position of Program-Job Coach. This position is responsible for the direct implementation of Individual Services Plans (ISP) in community based settings. Assisting individuals with growth/development in areas of; life skills, socialization, community integration and work skills.


This position requires the following:

Must be 18 years of age

- Must have a reliable vehicle that can pass a vehicle safety inspection, a valid CA driver's license, auto insurance with policy limits acceptable to VPCI's insurance carrier, and a good driving record demonstrating a history of consistently safe driving habits.

- Must express desire to work with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

- Must be willing to undergo a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

- Must be able to communicate well verbally and in writing.

- Must be willing to work variable hours.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

- Must be able to function and carry out all job duties effectively while out in the community.

- Must be able to utilize technology as a mode for service delivery and company organization/communication.

- Must complete all items listed in the employee checklist (I-9, W-4, application, etc.)


General responsibilities include:

Assist with overall development, implementation and supervision of individual service plans. This includes implementing activities that demonstrate a person centered approach and active treatment, monitor daily needs of those served, maintain positive community support, transport individuals to access employment and community opportunities, chart daily on individual activity, provide feedback on the effectiveness of individual service plans, provide care and safety for all persons served, promote self determination and independence, maintain consistent communication with supervising staff.

The pay range for this role is:

19 - 20 USD per hour (Remote - Fresno/Clovis, US)
