About the role

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Technical-Functional Data Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a background in data engineering, data analysis, or Enterprise Planning Management (EPM). This role is not heavily technical but requires proficiency in SQL and Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Experience with Snowflake and Databricks is highly desirable. Candidates should be prepared to take on various roles in different projects, acting as data analysts and data consultants.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Techno-functional consultant, supporting clients on their business needs, gathering requirements, and being a proactive consultant with a curious mind.

  • Contribute to multiple roles in different projects guiding clients through data-related challenges, and conduct data analysis providing insights to support business decisions.

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and reporting.

  • Ensure database performance, integrity, and security.

  • Utilize BI tools to create reports and dashboards.

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data.

  • Optimize ETL workflows for performance and efficiency.

  • Implement and manage data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.

  • Use Python and Java for data processing and automation tasks (as a plus).

  • Work with data consultants, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements.

  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

  • Document data processes, workflows, and architectures.

  • Adhere to best practices in data management and consulting.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related technical field.

  • 1+ years of experience in consulting, data engineering, data analysis, or EPM.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools.

  • Experience with Snowflake data warehousing solutions. (preferred)

  • Familiarity with EPM tools is preferred (e.g. Anaplan, Pigment).

  • Familiarity with Databricks (preferred).

  • Basic understanding of Python and Java (as a plus).

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Proactiveness and a curious mind.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams.
