-The Trainer is responsible for preparing, developing, and coordinating training for VQ employees. This position is responsible for providing training delivery for compliance to company, state or federal standards pertaining to clinical and treatment delivery. The Trainer suggests areas in need of training and implements the best strategies using training methods such as workshops, conferences, meetings, or demonstrations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides and monitors specified training delivery at all designated locations for compliance and quality. Maintains records for corporate oversight.
- Conducts training on Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), Sanctuary model of trauma informed care and VQ Fabric.
- Develops training materials, methods and maintains records on training program hours.
- Evaluates and measures the effectiveness of training offered for a specific purpose and audience.
- Gathers and evaluates information from employees and management on previous training to identify weaknesses and areas that need additional training.
- Informs employees of scheduled training and tracks their progress.
- Effectively evaluates the success of training programs in terms of learning outcomes and performance changes, identifying trends and patterns in data.
- Prepares media elements (slide shows, overheads, etc.) and participant workbooks for courses.
COMPLIANCE:
- Proficient in reading, interpreting, and applying ORR policies and procedures.
- Ensure training content and delivery methods comply with ORR guidelines, licensing standards,
- and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align training initiatives with compliance requirements.
- Build a positive culture that supports compliance with an emphasis on trauma-informed care.
- Lead by example in adhering to compliance standards and promoting a commitment to ongoing professional and organizational development.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Knowledge of computer skills, including Microsoft Software programs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in the behavioral sciences, education, human services or social services field.
- Child welfare and/or case management experience is preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Flexible schedule to facilitate program services.
- Cleared tuberculosis test results.
- Cleared background checks from appropriate entities.
- Obtain and maintain First Aid Certification (CPR) and Level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- May lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds infrequently.
- Performs tasks that may involve standing or walking 50% of the day; sitting 50%of the day.
- May bend, stoop, reach and grasp as necessary.
The pay range for this role is:
56,557 - 56,557 USD per year (885 Grace Dix Village)
