The VP of Operations, Domestic Programs, will oversee all operational aspects of VisionQuest’s domestic programs, ensuring the effective delivery of high-quality services aligned with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic objectives. This position ensures that programs run efficiently, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and meet performance goals.
Serving as a key liaison between domestic program staff, stakeholders, and executive leadership, the VP will establish operational procedures, reporting structures, and risk management strategies to ensure program success. This role includes monitoring financial performance, optimizing resources, and developing new initiatives to enhance the organization’s impact. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication, and crisis management abilities, promoting a collaborative and accountable work environment. The VP of Operations, Domestic Programs, reports to the COO.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Strategic Leadership and Alignment:
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to domestic programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with the COO in the development and execution of the corporate strategic plan to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
- Operational Oversight and Compliance Assurance:
- Oversee the operational integrity of domestic programs, and in collaboration with the VP of Compliance, ensure compliance with organizational policies, accreditation standards, and relevant regulations.
- Monitor program performance metrics and provide high-level insights to executive leadership on operational conditions and improvements.
- Financial Stewardship and Resource Optimization:
- Ensure responsible management of program budgets and financial resources, supporting program leaders in maintaining fiscal accountability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand program offerings and enhance service delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Development:
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, community partners, and internal leadership.
- Serve as a representative of the organization, fostering collaboration and effective communication across all levels.
- Continuous Quality Improvement and Innovation:
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across domestic programs to enhance service quality and outcomes.
- Promote and facilitate professional development initiatives for staff to ensure a highly skilled workforce aligned with the organization’s goals.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field, with a strong preference for a master’s degree.
- At least ten years of relevant experience in operational management or program leadership within the human services sector, demonstrating progressive responsibility and expertise.
- Proven commitment to serving children, youth, and families, with a focus on delivering high-quality services and fostering positive outcomes.
