The Facility Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the compliance and operational effectiveness of the
facility/facilities. This position manages and coordinates the activities of the security, maintenance, and kitchen
departments to ensure that the facility operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all local, state, and federal
regulations. The Facility Supervisor will also be integral in setting standards and monitoring the performance across
these departments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
● Compliance:
o Ensure all facility operations comply with relevant laws, building codes, regulations, and
standards.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards, and implement
necessary changes to keep the facility compliant.
o Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential compliance issues and
implement corrective actions.
o Coordinate with program leadership to set goals, assess performance, and implement
improvements.
o Develop and maintain effective schedules and workflows to maximize efficiency and
effectiveness.
● Security, Kitchen & Maintenance Management:
o Oversee the security team to ensure the safety of the facility, its assets, and personnel. This
includes implementing security protocols, monitoring their effectiveness, and
coordinating security training and drills to ensure emergency preparedness.
o Supervise the maintenance team to ensure the facility is in good repair and operates
efficiently. Responsibilities include scheduling routine maintenance and urgent repairs
while ensuring compliance with safety and building codes.
o Manage the kitchen staff (if applicable) to ensure the delivery of high-quality food services
and compliance with health and safety standards. This involves overseeing inventory
management, menu planning, kitchen equipment maintenance, and ensuring menu
compliance.
● Fleet Management
o Manage the program’s fleet of vehicles, ensuring efficient operation, maintenance, and
compliance with transportation regulations.
o Coordinate vehicle scheduling, maintenance, and logistics to support operational needs.
● Budget Management:
o Manage the budgets for assigned departments.
o Monitor spending and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality
or compliance.
● Staff Development:
o Recruit, train, and develop staff within the departments.
o Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance departmental
performance.
o Promote a culture of high performance, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
● High School Diploma or GED
● 2 years of administrative and supervisory experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Must be 21 years of age or older.
● Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
● Flexible schedule (evening, weekends, holidays) to facilitate program services.
● Cleared tuberculosis test results.
● Must be able to pass a drug test.
● Must be able to provide proof of required vaccinations.
● Cleared background checks from appropriate entities, including Child Abuse and Neglect and FBI
criminal background.
● Obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
● Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive to facilitate program services as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
● May lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds
infrequently.
● Performs tasks that may involve standing or walking 50% of the day; sitting 50%of the day.
● May bend, stoop, reach and grasp as necessary.
The pay range for this role is:
