About the role

     Vermeer Southeast is currently seeking an experienced AR Specialist I to under direct supervision, you will be responsible for performing data entry, posting, and reconciling account receivables payments, while maintaining customer accounts and responding to inquiries. This role will also involve assisting the AR Manager with various projects and daily tasks.




What you'll do

  • Perform data entry and reconcile account receivable payments.
  • Maintain accurate customer accounts and respond to inquiries.
  • Review and maintain a database of sales tax certificates.
  • Assist with special projects as required by the AR Manager.



Qualifications

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or one or more years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and percentages.
  • Good organizational skills and a strong sense of urgency.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of accounts receivable and general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in data entry and basic computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.).
