About the role

The Traditional Media Operations Manager will oversee the operational aspects of traditional media platforms, ensuring the smooth execution of media campaigns across linear TV, radio, print, CTV, and other channels. This role is responsible for managing tracking systems, setting up media sources, requesting and ensuring creative distribution, coordinating postlog maintenance, and handling invoicing processes. 

This position is fully remote, with occasional office visits to Los Angeles and some light travel. 

What you'll do

  • TFN (1-800#) tracking setup, assignment, management, and purchasing 

  • Manage the tracking and assignment of phone numbers to media vendors across various platforms (linear TV, CTV, radio, QR codes, print, etc.). 

  • Oversee the purchase of new phone numbers as needed for media campaigns. 

  • Media Source Assignment 

  • Set up and assign media sources for new vendors or campaign initiatives. 

  • Collaborate with relevant teams to request media source creation and testing. 

  • Extreme Reach Set-Up for Creative 

  • Set up metadata and spot details for TV spots to be distributed through Extreme Reach. 

  • Coordinate the processing of long-form content as required. 

  • Manage relationships with vendors. 

  • Production Request Form Submission 

  • Submit Production Request Forms for new assets as needed by the Traditional Media Team. 

  • Track creative deliveries, ensuring assets are submitted by the required due dates. 

  • Manage creative testing trafficking and creative testing matrix with buyers and VP. 

  • Postlog Mapping and Maintenance 

  • Create and maintain station mapping for postlog uploads. 

  • Troubleshoot issues related to postlog uploads and escalate when necessary. 

  • Analyze booked vs postlog data and notify buying team of discrepancies and clearance fluctuations. 

  • Traffic Management 

  • Update and maintain traffic reports for media teams. 

  • Implement changes in traffic systems, coordinating with Buying Team and VP on new estimate numbers for quarterly traffic updates (traffic week). 

  • Ensure timely delivery of media assets to stations. 

  • ISCI code maintenance and creation 

  • Create and maintain ISCIs for media spots, station sponsorships, and scripts. 

  • Keep the Master ISCI Report updated and accurate. 

  • Manage ISCI uploads in Wacool Config (interna CRM) for postlog processing. 

  • Billing and Invoicing 

  • Upload electronic media invoices into Strata and support coordinators in the process. 

  • Ensure missing invoices are requested and follow up on outstanding billing items. 

  • Validate Strata Trackers once invoices are cleared by buyers. 

  • Review invoice color-coding and assist in meeting invoicing deadlines. 

  • Gather and log media tools invoices (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar) and ensure timely approval. 

  • Print Calls Verification 

  • Verify calls from print vendors to ensure inquiries are correctly logged, and callbacks are minimized. 

  • Miscellaneous 

  • Deliver Kantar reports and competitor creative assets as needed. 

  • Work with media buying team to prepare creative traffic changes as needed. 

  • Attend weekly team meetings and 1/1. 

  • Oversee Traditional Media Operations Coordinator. 

  • Develop adhoc clearance and creative reports as needed. 

  • Manage relationships with operations vendors. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 

  • 5+ years of experience in media operations, with a focus on traditional media (TV, radio, print). 

  • Familiarity with media tracking tools, such as Strata and sTraffic systems. 

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills for troubleshooting operational issues. 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external media vendors. 

  • Strong project management skills. 

  • Familiarity with industry tools like Nielsen and Kantar.

Pay Range


$73,000- $81,000 base salary per year plus 10% annual bonus (Remote - United States)
