Position Summary:

We're hiring an Associate Inventory & Procurement Specialist to keep the parts, purchasing, and inventory operations behind our robot builds moving. In this role, you will organize  bills of materials (BOMs) across multiple concurrent revisions, run end-to-end procurement on standard and commodity parts, and design and continuously improve the inventory system that supports monthly production targets. As part of Business Operations, you’ll grow our supply chain function, you’ll work closely with our Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist on execution, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure they have what they need, when they need it. Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end purchasing and receiving for all inventory items —ordering, tracking, supplier follow-up, and stockroom organization—with  strong attention to detail.
  • Escalate late or at-risk parts early; troubleshoot and resolve issues on standard and commodity parts independently (finding alternates, re-sourcing, adjusting orders).
  • Coordinate inbound shipments and receiving, including working with freight forwarders and brokers on international orders.
  • Support monthly production targets while tracking parts across revisions and prototype builds.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve system for inventory tracking
  • Partner with build, maintenance, and engineering teams to drive improvements with strong bias for action and high ownership.
  • Live the future—work alongside, teach, and collaborate with robots to enable yourself and others.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in procurement, inventory management, supply chain, or materials/production coordination—ideally supporting complex electromechanical or hardware products (or a related degree plus relevant experience).
  • Hands-on experience tracking parts across multiple product revisions and concurrent builds.
  • Experience building or running practical inventory systems (ERP/MRP, digital tools, spreadsheets, or Kanban)
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with clear communication, a bias for action, and high ownership in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting robotics or other complex electromechanical hardware in a prototype-to-production environment.
  • Experience with BOM ownership (we expect this to grow over time as our BOM matures).
  • Procurement and vendor-management skills—ordering, expediting, receiving, and managing lead times across global and local suppliers.
