About the Role

War Room is looking for an experienced Campaign Manager to join our growing team! Reporting to the Manager, Campaigns and Optimizations, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and supervising the day-to-day management of our key client’s advertising campaigns. You’ll apply strong critical thinking skills to ensure accurate campaign development for paid ads, strategize ad setup, and provide insights and recommendations to surpass goals by monitoring various key performance indicators. 


You will be working closely with Campaign Managers, Optimization Specialists, Account Managers, and Data Analysts to provide strategic recommendations for improving performance in omnichannel-level accounts, owning campaign management processes, identifying and proposing operation processes to enhance efficiency, and managing account and platform setups.


Please note that this is a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week in the office with the first 3 months of onboarding fully in the office. We are located at 210 W Broadway, Vancouver.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contribute to the development of campaign strategies: Assist in the creation and implementation of campaign strategies under the guidance of senior management.
  • Monitor campaign performance: Track the effectiveness of campaign initiatives and prepare performance reports for review by senior campaign managers.
  • Ensure alignment of marketing materials: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop materials that align with the strategic direction set by senior management.
  • Assist with budget management: Help monitor the campaign budget, reporting expenses and potential overruns to a senior campaign manager.
  • Coordinate with vendors: Assist with the logistical aspects of vendor management, ensuring that contracts and deliveries support campaign needs.
  • Liaise with other departments: Work closely with other departments to ensure campaign efforts are coherent and aligned with broader company goals, providing regular updates to senior management.

Skills + Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in a paid media management role, either in an agency or an in-house marketing position
  • Experience with digital media planning & buying
  • Certified in Google Analytics, Google Ads & Facebook/Meta
  • Set-up experience on Search Ads (Google, Microsoft Bing, Yahoo)
  • Experience managing $3 million+ annual media budgets 
  • General understanding of Facebook Business Manager, DCM, and familiarity with other demand-side platforms
  • Familiar with media & research tools like ComScore, Emarketer, etc
  • Familiar in Google Tag Manager to understand tags and be able to identify and troubleshoot issues
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, dashboards, macros, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of the ad tech landscape
  • Excellent English communication skills (in-person, phone & email)
  • Capacity to work under pressure on various business verticals
  • Strong attention to detail is required

The pay range for this role is:

63,000 - 72,000 CAD per year (Vancouver)
