About the Role


War Room is looking for a Sales Manager to join our growing team! Reporting to the CRO, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and positioning our digital marketing and technical services to meet client needs. This is a new business-focused role that requires a consultative and proactive approach to selling. You’ll work closely with technical and marketing teams to ensure our offerings align with client goals.


Please note that this is a hybrid role that requires 3 days a week in the office with the first 3 months of onboarding fully in the office. We are located at 210 W Broadway, Vancouver and our office hours are 9-5 pm.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Business Development: Source new business through research, outbound calls, cold emails, networking, and social media outreach.
  • Client Discovery: Learn about prospective clients’ goals and challenges. Collaborate with internal teams to gather the information needed to move forward with solutions.
  • Consultative Selling: Recommend digital marketing and technical services that align with client objectives and position War Room as a value-adding partner.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients. Ensure a smooth hand-off to the account team post-sale.
  • Proposal Coordination: Work with internal experts to help develop tailored proposals that reflect client needs and align with our capabilities.
  • Sales Process Execution: Own the full sales process from outreach to closing. Manage your sales pipeline and prioritize leads to meet individual revenue goals.
  • Sales Insights: Share feedback from the field to support continuous improvement of our sales processes and service offerings.

Skills + Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in sales or business development, ideally within digital marketing, advertising, or tech services.
  • Demonstrated success in prospecting and closing new business.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing and a consultative approach to sales.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with internal teams to tailor proposals.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who is results-oriented and motivated to meet goals.

This role also includes a commission structure in addition to the base pay. The commission structure is uncapped and includes the ability to earn $45,000 in OTEs.

The pay range for this role is:

83,000 - 105,000 CAD per year (Vancouver)
