About the role
The Creative Director role will begin with a hands-on approach, handling and/or overseeing editing, data analysis, quality control, copywriting, repurposing content, posting, and team management. Initially, you'll be deeply involved in every aspect of content creation for WarriorBabe, Nikkiey Stott, and The Macro Hour and distribution to ensure the highest standards.
As the brand grows, this role will evolve into a leadership position focused on nurturing and growing a new in-house creative team. You will build and mentor a team that will manage most of the day-to-day operations, enabling you to concentrate on innovation and strategic growth.
The Creative Director will ensure posting schedules are met, key metrics are achieved, and the brand is consistently represented at its best.
Working alongside our founders and leadership team, you will propose new ideas and act as the voice of WarriorBabe, driving our mission and vision forward.
What you'll do
Generate and share content daily, ensuring brand consistency and on-topic presence.
Oversee the entire content creation process, from topic selection to publication.
Collaborate with content creators to brainstorm and select topics, ensuring documentation and sharing with the team.
Manage the editing process, providing Video Editors and Graphic Designers with clear briefs.
Ensure platform-specific content so that followers will get access to different content depending on which platform they are on.
Conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure the highest quality content.
Provide constructive feedback for revisions to Video Editors and Graphic Designers to ensure their adherence to quality standards.
Monitor and analyze content performance, using insights for future content planning and improvement.
Lead regular huddles and weekly creative meetings to review content, discuss results, and prioritize deliveries.
Ensure clear communication and coordination among team members for efficient workflow.
Manage and update the content calendar, ensuring timely publication of all content forms.
Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to align social media strategies and ensure brand consistency.
Oversee and innovate the design of social media accounts, ensuring an attractive and cohesive visual branding.
Stay abreast of the latest digital technologies and social media trends, integrating new features to develop brand awareness.
Collaborate with the Leadership Team to align content with the overall vision and strategy.
Oversee the addition and management of B-roll content, ensuring easy accessibility and usage in video.
Results
Content is congruent and on-brand
Content schedule is adhered to and consistent
100+ weekly pieces of content across all Nikkiey Stott, WarriorBabe, and The Macro Hour platforms
All content is platform-specific and based on top 20% of previous content
At least 50% of content posted does not require approval from executive leadership
Platform-specific, post-specific metrics are meticulously documented and reviewed for increased performance
Qualifications
5-10+ years of experience as Creative Director or similar experience, specifically managing organic content creation and strategy
Proficient with social media platforms and best practices
Able to "speak the language" of the various creatives on the team
Innovate thinker, self-starter
Consumes and/or creates content in their free time
Incredibly strong task management skills
Incredibly strong copywriting skills
Incredibly data analytical skills
Experience in hiring and managing a content team
Willingness to work hard and show up at odd times of day and night
