About the Role:


As the primary Recruiter at Phaedon you play a key role in supporting the growth of our teams and business. As a key part of the Human Resources team, you will lead full life cycle recruiting for roles focused primarily on technical, marketing and communications, product management, client facing and support functions. You will work directly with our business leaders and hiring managers to determine job specifications and manage the interviewing and hiring process. The ideal candidate for this role must have proven success in applying creative and current practices in sourcing candidates through proactive outreach, networking, search engines and other innovative techniques. This role may also support other areas of HR as needed and as req load allows.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work with business leaders to determine role scope and specifications, taking information to build a role description and/or posting.
  • Prospect new candidates through networking, employee referrals, job boards, social media presence and searches, career fairs and internet research.
  • Oversee systems to manage candidate workflow and offers.
  • Guide hiring managers and candidates through the recruiting process, coordinating all interview and follow up activities.
  • Facilitate the offer process, including salary negotiations, and other terms of employment.
  • Identify ongoing resources and networking to support candidate pipeline, including diverse candidates
  • As needed, help manage external search firm engagements and partnerships, ensuring an effective process and positive candidate/client experience.
  • Support other areas of HR outside of recruiting, including onboarding, culture and L&D as needed and as req load allows.

Desired Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal - at the level of proficiency required to be effective with senior leaders.
  • Ability to quickly establish a professional rapport.
  • Awareness of current laws and regulations related to hiring and employment practices.
  • Baseline knowledge of sound compensation practices for business and recruiting.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and work at a fast pace.
  • Demonstrated problem resolution skills.
  • Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and within legal requirements.
  • Strong team player who will demonstrate initiative to help others.

Education & Experience:

  • 4 to 5 years of technical recruiting experience sourcing, engaging and hiring technology-focused roles (engineering, product).
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Rippling or similar HRIS preferred.

Additional Information:

  • This role will report to Phaedon’s Director, HR. The role will be based out of Phaedon’s Minneapolis office, with 3+ days required in office/week. Occasional travel may be required.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $80,000 - $140,000
