Reports to: Technical Director or Senior Director, Technology
 
Position Summary:  
As a Manager, Technology of our front-end application team, you will manage a team of developers focused on delivery of new features and functionality to one of our core products in the loyalty marketing industry and play a central role.  
We are looking for a motivated and accountable individual who possesses skills to perform their own development coding in an agile environment and also manage a team of passionate developers by giving mentorship, guidance, and skills development direction. This role will also communicate and work directly with delivery managers, product owners, and solutions architects so being a good team player with effective communication skills is a must.  
 
Primary Skills
  • 5+ years of professional experience building web applications. 
  • 4+ years of experience with the AngularJS JavaScript application framework
  • 4+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, ES6 JavaScript and Web Standards
  • 4+ years of experience with NodeJS
  • 4+ years of experience with browser developer tools, git code versioning platforms, and JIRA
  • 4+ years of experience with workflow automation and build tooling including webpack/NPM, JavaScript testing (Cypress) and build tools, and CI/CD tools.
  • 4+ years of experience with Agile Software Development practices and concepts
  • 2+ years of experience with Web Components
  • Prior Management experience in a Manager, Supervisor, or Lead role.  
  • Understanding of common application servers and runtimes: 
    • Java/J2EE
    • Architecting solutions for distributed applications
    • Using unit testing frameworks / test driven development
    • Working knowledge of SQL Server databases
    • Developing industry standard persistence mechanisms like EJBs, JDBC, N/Hibernate, etc.
    • Integration/Interpreted: Node, Java
    • Database: Microsoft SQL Server, AWS Database technologies 
    • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Patterns

Education & Minimum Qualifications:
  • Software development degree or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of managerial, supervisor, or lead experience.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $119,000- $161,000
