Role Objective

 

We're seeking an experienced and strategic Director / Senior Director of Corporate Marketing who is eager to shape our B2B marketing efforts and substantially contribute to our growth goals via sound demand generation strategy and execution. This role will lead the comprehensive marketing strategy for the Phaedon brand, managing multiple workstreams while balancing both tactical execution and strategic planning. Over time, this role will include managing a variable workforce of freelancers and partners, with the opportunity to build out a dedicated team as we scale.  

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

 

Strategy & Leadership 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies aligned with business objectives 
  • Lead go-to-market strategy development and implementation 
  • Spearhead multi-channel demand generation campaign strategies and execution, driving and scaling marketing-qualified lead generation with established KPIs, and continuously improving marketing ROI across all channels  
  • Data-driven management and stewardship of marketing budget 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals, product launches, and revenue strategies 
  • Optimize strategies across various project and campaign timelines—test, analyze and report out on results 
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight for team and vendor partners 
  • Oversee CRM strategy and campaign execution leveraging an Account Based Marketing (ABM) approach 

Content Marketing 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive content marketing strategies that drive brand awareness and lead generation 
  • Lead creation of thought leadership content including blogs, reports, and eBooks in collaboration with subject matter experts 
  • Ensure all content is aligned with brand standards, messaging and positioning frameworks, and strategic objectives 
  • Research industry trends and competitive landscapes to identify new content opportunities that resonate with key buyer groups 
  • Oversee the content calendar and production workflows 

Digital Marketing & Social Media 

  • Lead SEO/SEM strategy and implementation in partnership with vendor 
  • Manage LinkedIn-focused social media strategy (both organic and paid) 
  • Lead strategy and development of email marketing campaigns 
  • Drive data-driven optimization across all digital channels 

Analytics & Reporting 

  • Utilize Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, LinkedIn campaign manager, and HubSpot reporting dashboards to track performance 
  • Implement testing methodologies to optimize marketing efforts 
  • Create actionable reports to demonstrate marketing ROI 

Website Management 

  • Manage website strategy and content execution (Word Press) 
  • Own website vendor relationships 
  • Ensure optimal user experience and conversion paths 

Event Management 

  • Oversee planning and execution of 2 major events annually plus smaller events 
  • Manage event logistics from contracts to execution 
  • Direct webinar and virtual event strategy 

Location:

 

This role is based out of our office in the Designer’s Guild building in the heart of Minneapolis' North Loop neighborhood.  We embrace a hybrid model with three in-office days per week to ensure a mix of collaboration and flexibility to support our employees' success.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • 7+ years in B2B marketing leadership roles with a strong track record of driving results
  • Experience growing brand presence for small to mid-sized companies
  • Skilled in strategic planning, analytics, and budget management
  • Strong understanding of B2B buying cycles, personas, and ABM strategies
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Outstanding writing and editing ability with adaptable tone and style

Technical Proficiency

  • CRM and CMS tools (HubSpot and WordPress preferred)
  • SEO/SEM strategy, GA4, and Google Search Console
  • Multi-channel campaign development and LinkedIn marketing (organic and paid)
  • Familiarity with AI tools for marketing applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA is a plus
  • Background in SaaS, MarTech, or marketing services
  • Event management and executive visibility support
  • Experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments
  • Strong positioning, go-to-market strategy, and testing/optimization expertise
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution

Pay Range:

 

The pay range for this position is estimated to be: $105,000 - $175,000 per year

There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
