About the role

We are searching for a dynamic and passionate On-Call Associate Creative Director to join our creative studio at Phaedon. As an On-Call Associate Creative Director, you will work closely with our Creative Director to lead the development of engaging and impactful “earned” ideas and campaigns, and work alongside a team of talented designers, copywriters, producers, strategists and others. You will play a key role in conceptualizing and executing creative ideas across various platforms to effectively communicate our clients’ brand messages and achieve key marketing and communications objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for earned creative: developing ideas that connect brand attributes and values with real cultural trends, to drive coverage among traditional and social media and across “human-first” communities and platforms, such as influencers, thought leaders and content creators. At Phaedon, earned creative means something newsworthy that gets people talking, whether that’s Nutmobile Dive Bars, unexpected beer-and-fish brand collabs or game changing campaigns celebrating female athletes. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have some experience in integrated campaign work and be able to contribute to more traditional creative as needed. Other top characteristics for this candidate include unbridled creativity, a keen eye for detail, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional earned creative work. Experience in CPG, beverage, food, retail and hospitality and healthcare is also a plus.

This is a variable hour, on-call position based on the demand of active proposal work, ideal for a highly experienced professional seeking flexible, project-based work.
