Phaedon is looking for an experienced digital design professional to support our healthcare client needs as a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer. Please see detailed information below.


Primary Responsibilities:

·       Leading design strategy and execution

o   Supporting the business and the interactions our client has with Health Care Professionals and advocates by translating business, research, product, and technical requirements into rich and engaging digital experiences.

·       Advocating, educating and evangelizing

o   Sharing principles of human-centered design across the team and being the internal champion for effective design thinking and implementation. Improving processes, when appropriate, to ensure optimal outcome success.

·       Determining the information architecture

o   Building organized content framework and patterns based on the mental model of a user and appropriate classifications and ensuring that wayfinding and task completion activities are efficient, intuitive, and simple.

·       Designing user flows and wireframes

o   Demonstrating simplified, low-fidelity concepts of a user's journey to validate through feedback and testing.

·       Creating prototypes

o   Establishing visual and high-fidelity mockups to generate interactive versions of the user interface that will be used for both leadership socialization and development readiness. Transforming complex problems into simple solutions that elevates the experience.

·       Presenting designs and insights to key stakeholders.

o   Walking through key decisions, designs, and artifacts with diverse teams and audiences across the organization to tell a compelling story that seeks to align and gain buy-in and consensus quickly and efficiently.

Additional Responsibilities:

·       Partnering with business, research, product and tech teams

o   Working across teams to discuss and solve complex problems that lead to highly functional, accessible, elegant, and engaging digital solutions.

·       Anticipating customer needs and proactively developing solutions

o   Establishing effective digital solutions through a design focused lens that is empathetic and meets core audience/user requirements. 

·       Exploring emerging opportunities

o   Ongoing learning, development and experience in the healthcare digital space, evaluates and evangelizes, as needed.

·       Leading discussions and critique of work

o   Positioning as the team member who will be motivating and inspiring to other team members.

·       Conducting user research and testing

o   Collaborating with UX and research teams, contributing to the design and facilitation of research methods, and obtaining information about users, their behaviors, motivations and needs. Helping to convert findings into qualitative and quantitative information that guides decision-making and testing to validate assumptions and make informed design decisions
 

Required Qualifications:

·       5+ years of experience and proven ability with the following design themes and concepts:

o   User, product, interface research

o   Information Architecture

o   Content Strategy

o   Interaction Design

o   Visual Design

o   WCAG/A11Y

o   Delivering high-quality, meaningful work within a product team that delivers the best possible outcomes

o   Building product experiences from the ground up and leading digital 0-to-1 initiatives in the healthcare space

o   Storytelling and communicating at an elevated level with multiple teams and stakeholders

o   Collaborating cross-functionally across a large/complex organization

·       5+ years of experience and strong proficiency with execution level design tools:

o   Figma

o   Prototyping presentation platforms (Figma)

o   Design systems and pattern libraries

o   Figjam
 

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Degree or certification from a UX-related program (Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Technology or related discipline)

·       Product analytics, NPS, and Voice of the Customer data

·       Iterative design and development lifecycle (Agile Software Development)

·       Experience designing for audiences specific to healthcare or related fields such as patients and providers

·       Working knowledge of customer journeys in the health insurance space, including member acquisition and retention

·       Experience designing for regulated industries including HIPAA compliance

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $93,500 - 126,500 plus there will be an incentive package for this role.
