About The Role & Team


We are looking for a dedicated team player to join our trade operations team in our New York Operations as a Trade Analyst. This role encompasses the full life cycle of a trade, which consists of monitoring client placement, internal and external order management systems, as well as orders out to the market center.


In This Role, You Will

  • Respond to any trade related issues that clients may encounter 
  • Monitor our order management systems 
  • Cover off-peak hours to support our global teams and expanded trading hours
  • Identify any issues and resolve them in a timely manner 
  • Place trades for reps and our omni team in qualifying circumstances 
  • Identify deficiencies in our current processes & systems and working towards fixing/optimizing them 
  • Participate in tests of new trade features through UAT environment 
  • Reach out to our vendors for any trade related issues that arise 
  • Assist our U.S. team and our global branches with any ad hoc trade related inquiries 
  • Ensure our trade routes are flowing properly 
  • Monitor incoming order flow that may breach internal risk controls

 

The Skills You Bring

  • 1–2 years of relevant industry experience
  • SIE (Preferred or ability to take within 3 months of hire)
  • Strong writing and documentation skills
  • Solid understanding of financial instruments and derivatives
  • Ability to act quickly, decisively, and accurately under pressure
  • Strong interest in financial markets and economic trends
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both internally and externally
  • Professional demeanor; reliable and dependable

 

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Series 7 (Preferred or ability to take within 3 months of hire) 
  • Ability to take Series 57 within a timely manner (within 6 months of hire)
