About The Role & Team

The Special Projects and Strategic Partnerships Associate will work alongside the Director of Business Development, focusing on Product Research & Development, Project Management, Investor Relations and General Strategy. This role will provide exposure to internal and external C-suite executives, international technology teams, trading & operations, and marketing. The Associate will play a key role in the development and roll-out of cutting-edge technologies and strategic business initiatives.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead and support strategic partnership initiatives, identifying and executing collaboration opportunities with fintech firms, technology providers, and other key industry players.
• Assist with Investor Relations initiatives (communication with institutional investors, analysts, and high-profile partners)
• Collaborate with multiple departments (Technology/Product Development, Trading & Operations, Marketing, and C-suite) to drive business development projects forward.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess industry trends, potential partners, and business opportunities in the Fintech Ecosystem
• Develop and deliver analytical reports and presentations for executive audiences in various formats (PowerPoint, Excel, written reports, and verbal briefings).
• Build strong cross-functional relationships to facilitate collaboration and execution of strategic initiatives.
• Manage multiple project deadlines by maintaining project status, proactively coordinating diverse stakeholders, and ensuring timely completion of objectives.
• Synthesize and present complex financial and industry data to support decision-making.
• Participate in high-level discussions and negotiations with external partners to drive business expansion efforts.
• Other tasks related to analysis and strategic projects as required.

The Skills You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, Technology, or a related field.
• Strong interest and experience in Fintech, particularly in the Broker-Dealer Ecosystem
• Proven ability to establish and manage strategic partnerships.
• Experience in business development, corporate strategy, or related fields within a fintech or financial services environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently while quickly adapting to shifting priorities.
• Willingness to participate in occasional evening (8pm or 9pm EST) conference calls (1-2 times per week) to accommodate different time zones.
• Strong research skills with the ability to acquire and synthesize new information independently.
• Excellent analytical, record-keeping, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to structure complex projects into actionable plans.
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

What Makes You Stand Out

• You have previous Investor Relations experience.
• Strong written communication skills in English (Mandarin proficiency is a plus).
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and dealing with ambiguity.
• Highly organized self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
