About The Role & Team
We are seeking a motivated and talented financial services professional to join our Middle Office Operations team as a Legal Operations Analyst in NY. This role sits at the intersection of legal, compliance, and operations, supporting key regulatory processes such as liens, levies, garnishments, and escheatment while ensuring client accounts are handled in accordance with regulatory requirements.
In this position, you will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external regulators to manage time-sensitive legal and regulatory requests, support asset transfer processes, and help strengthen operational workflows. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their financial services career who is interested in gaining exposure to the operational backbone of a fast-growing broker-dealer while developing expertise in regulatory operations and brokerage infrastructure.
In This Role, You Will
- Complete legal processes for client liens, levies, garnishments, information requests and take appropriate action to restrict account access, liquidate positions, and/or pay creditors.
- Manage the escheatment lifecycle, including due diligence, reporting, and delivery of securities and cash to state unclaimed property offices.
- Serve as primary liaison between internal legal, compliance, and operations departments
- Maintain strong communication with state regulators to ensure compliance with evolving escheatment laws and deadlines.
- Prepare and file reports with state agencies, maintaining detailed audit trials and documentation.
- Partner with internal teams to identify dormant accounts, coordinate outreach, and develop proactive processes to reduce future escheatable items.
- Collaborate with vendors and transfer agents to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in escheatment operations.
- Process asset transfers, including journaling securities, reconciling accounts, monitoring corporate actions, and ensuring timely and accurate DTC deliveries.
- Continuously identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflows and reduce risk.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of relevant financial services or operations experience.
- 2–3 years of Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus); familiarity with DTC systems and brokerage operations preferred.
- Preliminary understanding of escheatment laws, unclaimed property reporting, and corporate actions.
- Excellent attention to detail, reconciliation skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate across departments and with external regulators.
- Team player with strong problem-solving and project management skills.
- Ability to obtain SIE and Series 7 within 6 months of employment.

This role is based in our Wall Street office (44 Wall Street, NYC) where in-person collaboration fuels growth, mentorship, and innovation. At Webull, we’re committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. The base salary range is $80,000 - 95,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus and full benefits.
