About The Role & Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our legal team in St. Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience at a top-tier law firm or in a similar role, with a strong background in regulatory compliance, commercial transactions, and public company filings. Experience in intellectual property (IP), privacy, and cybersecurity is highly desirable.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with public company filing requirements and securities regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address legal issues related to IP, privacy, and cybersecurity.
• Liaise with regulators and external counsel as needed.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.

The Skills You Bring

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience at a top-tier law firm or in a similar legal role.
• Proven experience in dealing with regulators and handling commercial transactions.
• Familiarity with public company filings and securities regulations.
• Strong knowledge of IP, privacy, and cybersecurity laws is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
